Peloton Cellars' 2006 Syrah Wins
Major Award!
July. 9, 2009 - Peloton Cellars is extremely proud to announce that our 2006 Laetitia Syrah has won several prestigious awards at the 2009 California State Fair Commercial Wine Competition. The Laetitia Syrah was awarded one of the most coveted honors being voted "Best of Region", which is awarded to the top red wine from each of the 10 designated regions throughout California. We were chosen as the best red wine from the South Central Coast region, which includes all appellations from Paso Robles south to Santa Barbara. Laetitia Syrah was selected the top red wine in a wide field that included not only Syrah, but all other red varietals as well.
The 2006 Laetitia Syrah also won several other major awards at the competition including:
- Best of Class of Region as the best Syrah from the South Central
Coast region - Gold Medal, 95 points
