2013 Spanish Springs Pinot Noir

Spanish Springs Vineyard, San Luis Obispo

Our 2013 Pinot Noir hails from the up-and-coming Spanish Springs Vineyard in the San Luis Obispo AVA. This vintage has medium tannins, a ruby red color and a nose of berries, mint and spice. There are hints of rhubarb on the palette with a long, elegant finish.

The ‘13 Pinot Noir pairs well with “fowl” birds, a nice goat cheese ravioli or artisan cheeses like brie & gouda. It is ready to drink now, but can be cellared for a couple of years. We recommend that you decant our Pinot Noir for 20 to 30 minutes before drinking.
